Domino: Instructions
At the beginning of the game each player receives 7 Dominoes. In total, there are 28 tiles. The tiles are divided into two and each half has a particular number of spots or ‘pips’ (0-6). Seven of the tiles have the same number of pips at both ends.
The player, who begins the game, must lay a tile of his/her choice in the middle of the table. The next player must then place a tile at either end of the first tile, and so on for the remaining players. A new tile may only be laid, however, if one half of the tile matches one end of the row already formed on the table. The other half of the new tile then becomes the new end of the row. It is not compulsory to lay the tiles in a straight row. Therefore, the players can form corners at will, however this can lead to the row coming to a dead end. In this case, the row of tiles will be automatically straightened.
If a player cannot lay a tile, he/she must take one of the covered tiles (by clicking on “Draw”). The player automatically misses a turn.
If no player can lay all of his/her tiles, the player with the lowest pip total wins the round. The player then receives the difference between his/her pip total and the totals of each of the opponents (e.g. Player A has 4 pips, Player B has 9 and Player C has 14. Player A wins (9-4)+(14-4) = 15 points).
Should more than one player have the joint lowest pip total, the round ends in a draw and no points are won.
The first player to reach the predetermined points score wins the game. For one round games, the player who lays all of his/her tiles first is the winner.
