Press "Del" or "Backspace" or click "Undo" to delete a number. Use the arrows to move the cursor from box to box. If a number appears in red, it means that it has already been used in that row, column or box. Click on "Get Tips" to open an additional box. The right number for this field is shown in green. Click on the "Candidates" button to be shown which numbers would be possible.
Rules
Sudoku is a game for two players. The field is a square consisting of nine blocks, each of which contains nine boxes. Some of the boxes already contain numbers at the start of the game. The player's task is to complete the puzzle by entering the correct numbers into the empty boxes. A number (1-9) can only appear once in each column, row and block.
The aim of the game is to fill up the boxes with the numbers one to nine. The game is over once all squares have been correctly filled, the time is up, or the player clicks "Finish". The player who needed the fewest turns wins.
Points
In Sudoku points are assigned according to turns. Entering a number corresponds to one turn. If the player clicks "Undo", this also counts as a turn. Clicking on "Get Tips" costs you three turns. If the game ends prematurely, each empty or incorrect box is counted as three turns. The player also has the option of viewing possible entries for an empty box by clicking the "Candidates" button. Clicking this button counts as one turn.
