Loss of connection in Skill Games

Loss of connection in single player games

Single player games include for example Solitaire and Sugar.

In order for a player to receive credit for a game won, the game must be won in accordance with the rules.

If you lose the connection to the server, you can rejoin the game within the remaining playing time The playing time will still run whilst you are experiencing a loss of connection. If the playing time runs out before you re-establish a connection with the game server, the points which you earned before the loss of connection will be awarded to your account.

Loss of connection in multi-player games

Multi-player games include for example 8-Ball Pool and Yatzy.

In order for a player to receive credit for a game won, the game must be won in accordance with the rules. Furthermore, the winner of the game must maintain a connection to the server for the entire course of play.

If you lose the connection to the server, you have 2 minutes to rejoin the game. If you manage this, the loss of connection has no consequence on the game, as long as you haven't been thrown out of the game due to a time limit violation by your fellow players. Should you be thrown out of the game or fail to re-establish a connection with the server within 2 minutes, a computer player of average ability will take over the your role for the rest of the game. In this case, you will still able to rejoin the game at a later point in time.

If you win in accordance with the rules of the game after you rejoin the game or after you role has been taken over by the computer, you will not receive credit for a won game. The game is considered a loss. Should both players lose their connection, the result of the game will not be recorded at all.
